Already at 21, Kylian Mbappe is treated as a superstar in France and perhaps in any place where football is followed with passion. But there is a chance the Paris Saint-Germain striker could be regarded readily as a royalty, that is if he makes the jump to Liverpool and where he will be feted like a king at Anfield.

That is the vision offered by Willy Sagnol, who appeared for France as a defender, saying too that the PSG ace bringing his game to the Premier League will lead to a host of advantages. For one, Mbappe will get to work with a coach that all footballers would like to be with.

On the other hand, team managers will surely welcome a roster addition such as the France international. Mbappe is not a star on the pitch for no reason at all. His three seasons with the Parisians so far resulted in 90 goals in just 120 appearances.

And the youngster is also a title-winner. He boasts of four Ligue 1 crowns and a win in the 2018 World Cup. It will not come as a surprise if Mbappe will soon add the Champions League and the Ballon d'Or to his list of growing honors.

Sagnol said Mbappe has the making of a football king, adding that such status will be realized when the striker begins collaborating with Klopp and the Reds.

"No question, Mbappe could become a king with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool," Metro reported Sagnol, who also played for Bayern Munich, as saying.

However, football immortality is not automatic, even for someone like the top PSG marksman. Sagnol said the defensive side of Mbappe's game will still require a lot of work, and when he improves on this aspect, he'd be a potent weapon at Klopp's disposal.

Sagnol is quite optimistic that everything that needs to be learned Mbappe will get quick with the guidance of the Reds club boss.

It would seem, however, that Anfield will have to wait for a while before seeing the Frenchman play as part of the Reds. One thing that Klopp has to go through is the high cost of acquiring Mbappe, believed to be around £150 million, and an asking price that PSG will be unwilling to adjust.

Still, Mirror said Mbappe appeared more than open with the possibility of one day playing for Anfield. He recently dropped hints of his admiration for Liverpool and Klopp when he called the English club "a winning machine."

Because of hard work and "a very good manager," Liverpool made it look that winning is easy, said the French striker.
