Agents of SHIELD season 7 episode 3 is set to arrive next week on ABC, with the title "Alien Commies From the Future." What's interesting about this episode is that the team will be heading over to a new era. But then, they'll also be facing new issues; finding new ways to stop the chronicoms.
This is one of the major problems of the team entering Agents of SHIELD season 7 episode 3. There is a huge challenge here, which is finding an easy way to stop them. The good news here is that SHIELD will be part of the timeline -- but not the SHIELD Mack, Daisy, and others are familiar with.
According to the synopsis, Enoch was left stranded in 1931 following a surprise lead forward in time. The team, on the other hand, landed again in an unfamiliar decade. What they need to do now is to stop the chronicoms from launching their newest future-dismantling plan.
In order to do that, the agents must infiltrate in one of the secure bases of the SHIELD. The team won't also be able to succeed without the help of some familiar faces. It remains to be seen whether or not Enoch will be making another appearance within this episode.
This is also an opportunity to learn more about the plans of the chronicoms, and how far the team could go to stop them. The goal of the chronicoms is to come up with another plan so they could keep the future from ever happening. So, the team needs to do whatever they can to stop it.
As mentioned, Agents of SHIELD season 7 episode 3 lands the team in an unfamiliar decade. Based on some clues, it's likely that they're now heading to the fifties. For instance, the episode title is probably referenced to some sort of fifties B movie. Also, the "commies" likely suggest the McCarthyism era.
Meanwhile, a photo shows Coulson and Daisy together at a diner. It seems like they're doing some strategic plan -- probably a plan to find a way how to get into one of the SHIELD's most secure bases. While they have ideas about what these bases were like, it would be hard this time since they're seventy years in the past.
Only a few of them had a clear sense of how it was like back then, so it's interesting to see how the team deals with this unfamiliar decade now. Due to the time-traveling nature of the final installment, prepare for unexpected twists and turns along the way.
