As a senior working royal, Kate Middleton has traveled outside the United Kingdom for several times. She has been to different parts of the globe, including countries in South East Asia, Africa, and other parts of Europe.

Whether official or not, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reportedly love every travel that they had since they are lovers of "culture" and "exploration," according to the Daily Express. This is why it is not surprising that they always maintain certain things on every trip, which eventually became a "tradition" for the royal couple, especially the Duchess.

Kate Middleton has been known to be a lover of photography. She always "packs" a camera with her in each of her travels, royal author, Marcia Moody revealed in her book.

Based on her assertions in Kate: A Biography, she asserted that the Duchess of Cambridge always carries her "beloved Canon camera." It has seemingly appeared then that she never forgets to bring it with her all the time.

As a side note, the expert also revealed that the Duchess does not go out without her small clutch. In it, her lip balm, blotting paper, handkerchief, and compact mirror are always included.

The royal expert continued to share that Kate Middleton has been a "keen photographer." She also reportedly claimed that the Duchess has likely "recorded" and kept shots of every family event through the years.

Last year, the young Cambridge royals made the headlines, alongside their mother, for the surprising "gift" that they have for Prince William. As stated, the Duchess of Cambridge and her three kids worked on a huge scrapbook, which contained photographs, drawings, prints, and collages, as per The Sun.

Sources shared with the publication that the family, excluding the Duke of Cambridge, worked on it for 12 months. They also reportedly kept it at Pippa Middleton's home for safekeeping while they waited for Prince William's 37th birthday.

While it remains unknown what this scrapbook exactly contains, many experts reportedly believe that the photographs all came from Kate Middleton and her beloved camera. It is also not surprising considering that she almost always utilizes her photography skills on her family members, particularly Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Reports then noted that the Duchess of Cambridge shared this interest with Queen Elizabeth II. As it happens, the head of the British Monarchy is also a lover of photography.

For years, Prince William's grandmother held the post as the Patron of The Royal Photographic Society. But, in 2019, she reportedly passed the patronage onto Kate Middleton.
