Kate Middleton has become one of the most popular British Royals in modern times. Despite not being born into the Royal Family, experts and fans deemed her a "natural."

Next to the Queen, she has the highest approval ratings among all royals, alongside her husband, Prince William. Aside from her iconic looks and styles, her dedication and "unwavering" commitment to the British Monarchy are also factors as to why the public loves her.

But, quite obviously, the Duchess of Cambridge would have had a different life and career if she had not married her now-husband, the Duke of Cambridge. Nevertheless, experts reportedly believe that she will be equally popular, particularly in the fashion industry.

According to Express UK, Kate Middleton graduated with a degree in Art History. She also has a passion for photography.

While these things would have been the center of her career if she had not been a part of the Royal Family, royal expert and author, Robert Jobson reportedly asserted that the Duchess of Cambridge had a different view in her career. He said in his book, William's Princess, that the young Kate had a "fashion business idea" that she wanted to get off the ground upon graduation.

The royal expert reportedly continued to reveal that the Duchess had plans to design her own collection of children's wear and apparel, alongside her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. She decided "to see it through" then, a source told the author.

Robert Jobson further claimed that Kate Middleton has always "loved clothes," and she has a "good eye" for it. She can make good money, as well, he added. This might also reportedly explain why the young Cambridge royals have always seemed to hit a "perfect fashion note."

Prior to becoming a royal, the now-Duchess reportedly worked in the fashion industry for a brief time. As stated, she worked for Jaeger, and even co-designed some pieces, like necklaces, for the chain. But, her then-career was said to have focused on her position under her parents' company, Party Pieces.

It may reportedly come as a surprise for some that Kate Middleton worked regular day jobs in the past. But, royal expert, Katie Nicholl said that this is apparently "required" by Queen Elizabeth II so Prince William could propose to her, according to Cheat Sheet.

As claimed, the British Monarch had worries and "grave concerns" that the royal-born Prince's long-time girlfriend did not have "regular day job" experiences before becoming a royal. She reportedly believes that before Kate Middleton emerges as a senior royal, she should have a self "identity" first.
