A lot of stories are coming for Sam Heughan's Jamie Fraser when Outlander season 6 premieres on Starz. He is one of the most interesting characters within this world and moving forward, his story will further be explored. He's been through a lot, but it looks like he'll be facing more chaos along the way.
Entering Outlander season 6, we're going to see Jamie possibly preparing for the conflict ahead of him. Two more conflicts are coming, with the first one dealing with the aftermath of killing Lionel Brown. Then, the biggest concern is the Revolutionary War.
How will Jamie handle both of these? While he knows he had the support of others, he also recognized that stakes are high. When it comes to dealing with trauma, Jamie could be the best person to help Claire -- largely because of the things he endured at the hands of Black Jack.
Jamie could help Claire with what she's currently going through. The things that happened in the previous installment caused her trauma, so Jamie will be there for her. This is also an opportunity to further explore the emotional connection between the two.
In terms of Jamie's relationship with Roger, the dynamic between the two is different at the end of season 5. In Outlander season 6, their bond may further evolve. After all, they were able to help one another and contribute to the landscape of Fraser's Ridge.
Meanwhile, Jamie may also wrestle with the idea of time travel. He knows that it is possible, and with Roger and Brianna almost leaving, it would be interesting to see how he wraps his head about this. There are a lot of time travelers in his era, so he'll likely wonder what the future would look like.
Jamie could also help Young Ian in Outlander season 6. He is aware that Ian volunteered to go with the tribe so that he could stay back with his family. Jamie may now help Ian with some loose ends happening there. Perhaps, he could find a way how to get him out of the tribe.
Lastly, the upcoming installment could see Jamie finding more friendships. Murtagh is now dead, while Lord John is likely heading back overseas. Hence, it would be nice to see Jamie building friendships with others. He needs a new confidante; someone he could lean on and help him.
As for the release date of Outlander season 6, there is no confirmed premiere schedule as of this writing. Starz hasn't yet announced anything regarding the future of the new installment. But, there's a chance the arrival would be delayed due to the current global health crisis.
