If ARMYs would pick two BTS members that are very alike, Suga and Jungkook are definitely not on top of the list. The boys may have mad love and respect for each other, but they can be the complete opposites when it comes to their personality.
However, Jungkook proved that just because he and Suga are not that alike, that does not mean that he doesn’t know his hyung that much. In fact, the Golden Maknae knows the “Daechwita” rapper very well.
On June 10, BTS released a “2020 BTS Profile 2” for 2020 FESTA. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were tasked to write a profile for another member. JK wrote the 27-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer’s profile and Q&A.
Jungkook channeled his inner Suga and the result was accurate. The BTS rapper is a very practical man and is known for saying things as they are. He doesn’t beat around the bush and goes straight to the point — JK did just that.
Everybody knows that Suga is a hard worker, but he would rather do nothing if given the chance. So for Suga’s hobby, JK wrote: “breathing.” He then described the BTS rapper’s role in the group as the “father,” even though Jin is the oldest and RM is the leader. This is actually a compliment considering the fact that ARMYs call Suga the grandpa of BTS. (Check out the photo here).
And when Jungkook filled up the space as to what Suga thinks of the members, he didn’t put any thoughts to it — just like what Suga would have done. “RM is the leader, Jin is the hyung, J-Hope is the younger brother, Jimin is maknae #3, V is maknae #2, Jungkook is maknae #1.” (Check out the photo here).
Jungkook’s drawing of SUGA is also very accurate, especially the shape of the body. Suga normally draws people with a starfish-like body and JK made sure to apply this detail to his sketch. He also perfectly captured Suga’s stern face.
Even though many may see Suga and Jungkook as not having much in common, the pair still enjoys each other’s company. In Bon Voyage Season 3, SG lets JK try some different drinks during their outing. The older BTS star then called their one-on-one drinking session as “friendship.” Since Suga introduced Jungkook to Irish Bomb, which the younger one liked more than whiskey, they ended up their trip to the pub with a fist bump while saying “Friendship is Irish Bomb.”
