Paul Pogba is all set to rejoin Manchester United but his future beyond the current season is up in the air. Things have not exactly gone smoothly for him at Old Trafford made even tougher with the comments previously made by his agent, Mino Raiola. The reason for this is traced to the fact that Pogba's side took exception on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's claim that they control the French footballer.

Regardless, all was more likely taken out of context. According to Raiola, those are all in the past and things have been patched up. However, Pogba has been struggling with the Red Devils. Aside from injuries, he has yet to hit his groove. Things got even more complicated with the arrival of Bruno Fernandes. With another offensive option, Pogbal will need to do the necessary adjustments so he can fit into the system of Solskjaer starting June 19. United will face Tottenham once football action resume and Pogba is allegedly good to go. No less than Solskjaer announced that the 27-year-old will be good to go once the season resumes, The Guardian reported.

United is looking to make a move up the Premier League table. They are currently at the fifth spot, three points behind Chelsea. They are likely to make the Champions League with Manchester City serving a two-year ban. However, an appeal was filed - meaning that they may want to do well in their remaining games to move up and avoid complications.

But after this season, most are eager to know what awaits Pogba. Some feel he could be on his way out. To some, that may not be a wise move due to the problems brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. Teams are struggling financially, meaning he may not get a good contract if he decides to test the market this summer. The best resort seen by most is for him to stay and wait until clubs can stabilize their financial problems.

Related to that, the asking price of Pogba is up in the air. Some believe he is underperforming and needs to work on his game first before seeking a lucrative deal. One of those who voiced out that Pogba needs to play more consistently is his former teammate, Ander Herrera. For him, Pogba needs to be more consistent if he wants to rank among the world's best, The Athletic reported.

"If you want to become the best midfielder in the world, it is about consistency. You have to do it day in, day out. He is a good guy. He wants to do it. He does train well. He has to do it every day,” Herrera said.
