No Time To Die is not yet done changing its release date. MGM has announced a new release date (again) and James Bond fans are hoping that it would be the last. Meanwhile, the last of Daniel Craig's run as 007 is not expected to set a new record as the biggest live-action Thanksgiving release of all time because of its new premiere date.

MGM has decided to move the release date of No Time to Die a few days early from November 25, 2020 to November 12 in the UK and November 20 in the U.S. The premiere date of the 25th James Bond has changed four times in the last six months.

The action spy flick was originally slated for release in November 2019 before it was postponed to February and then to April 10 after the exit of the movie's original director Danny Boyle and he was replaced by Cary Fukunaga. It was further pushed back to November 25 because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Then MGM made a new announcement recently after Warner Bros. moved the release of Godzilla Vs. Kong to November 21, 2021. Disney/Pixar's Soul also took over No Time To Die's old November 25 slot in the U.S.

Forbes estimated that No Time To Die may not achieve a new Thanksgiving weekend box office record because of its new release date on November 20. However, it could be the biggest pre-Thanksgiving action movie given the "Daniel Craig's final 007 film" narrative attached to it.

No Time To Die is set five years on from the events of Spectre. It follows James Bond in retirement in Jamaica after he left active service.

However, his newfound serenity in life is short-lived because an old CIA friend asks for his help. The mission is to rescue a kidnapped scientist who turns out to be far more treacherous than expected. This leads Bond to follow the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology that is capable of unspeakable destruction.

Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnea, and Léa Seydoux reprise their respective roles from previous films. Newcomers in the 25th Bond installment are Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, David Dencik, Dali Benssalah, and Billy Magnussen.

This may be the last James Bond movie for Craig but references about the character that he portrayed for years may still be made in the future installment. There have been reports that Bond producers are, reportedly, planning a spin-off based on the spy's recently-discovered daughter. Rumors have it James Bond is set to have a daughter in No Time To Die.
