Kate Middleton is married to Prince William, who is the second in the line of succession to the British throne. Although his grandmother Queen Elizabeth is still the reigning monarch, and his father is the heir apparent to the throne, there is no doubt that the Duke of Cambridge is going to be King one day.
That being said, a new report claimed that Kate Middleton experienced a royal “curse” of dating a future king. This curse was, reportedly, encountered by Princess Diana when her relationship with Prince Charles became public.
“The scenes outside her flat in 2007 on her 25th birthday were eerily reminiscent of the scenes Diana faced when she was leaving her flat when the relationship with Prince Charles was revealed,” royal commentator Victoria Arbiter said.
After the media found out about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s romantic relationship, they have been following her nonstop. With the older son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana being a top bachelor at the time, people were extremely interested if the future King finally found his wife.
Kate Middleton may have a great relationship with the media at the moment, but she struggled to adapt to paparazzi following her in the early years of her relationship with Prince William. The unnecessary attention even led the Royal family to release a statement asking the media to leave Kate alone.
