Prince William and Prince Harry always had a close relationship. The public has witnessed the sons of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana grow up and have seen their tight bond on full display during their royal engagements.
Unfortunately, things changed when Prince Harry tied the knot with Meghan Markle in 2018. The Cambridges and Sussexes started to have a great bond as well, even earring the title as the “Royal Fab Four,” but a rift between the couples quickly circulated when Prince Harry and Meghan removed themselves from the joint foundation with Prince William and Kate.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently residing in Los Angeles with their son Archie. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced earlier this year that they will be stepping down as senior royals due to several reasons such as wanting to live a more “peaceful life,” be “financially independent,” and to focus more on their family and charities.
Whispers and speculations revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be joining the Hollywood scene. With the Duchess of Sussex being a former actress, this rumor doesn’t seem that far-fetched. But the Duke of Sussex may not be as comfortable as his wife as a previous report shared that he was “star-struck” over their new surroundings in Tinseltown.
According to a recent report, Prince Harry confided with Prince William about having a hard time adjusting to his new life in Los Angeles including his family’s security challenges. Now, a friend claimed that the royal brothers have been meeting regularly online.
"Just two brothers have a chat,” they said. "No-one else is involved. It takes the pressure off… There is nothing formal about these zoom sessions. It's about keeping in touch that's important.”
Meanwhile, speculations about Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud started in February 2019, and events after that ignited the rumors even more. The Sussexes suddenly removed themselves from their joint foundation with the Cambridges, which seemingly confirmed the rift between the famous couples.
Despite their tight bond, Prince William and Prince Harry were rarely seen together. And when the public finally sees the Dukes together, they didn’t appear to be as close as before anymore.
Now, Prince William and Prince Harry are slowly patching up their relationship and royal fans couldn’t be happier. Many are hoping to see the brothers together again once the coronavirus lockdown is finally lifted. For now, the Duke of Sussex cannot leave LA due to the emergency protocol.
