Lee Min Ho is one of the most well loved Korean actors all over the world and it comes as no surprise that fans want him to feel their love on his special day.

The actor recently shared a snap of his haul of gifts as he celebrated his 33rd birthday and thanked the fans for their continued love and support.  The star shared a photo of himself standing in the middle of his living room surrounded by gifts and flowers that were sent by his supporters, Soompi reported.

Lee Min Ho said that the thoughtful gifts from fans made his day even more special. In return, he gave fans a special gift of his own, by showing his playful and funny side.

In another Instagram post,  Lee Min Ho showed how he tried to blow out his birthday candles from a distance, given the social distancing requirements set by health experts to protect the public from COVID-19.

He vowed that next year, he will blow out the candles no matter what.

Lee Min Ho recently completed the filming of his comeback drama The King:Eternal Monarch, which aired its final episode recently.

In his message to viewers of the drama,  he said that he hopes that despite the challenges being experienced by the world because of the pandemic, everyone will continue to remain strong and healthy. He also said that he hopes that his fans will continue to walk the path that they have chosen for themselves like what he is doing. He promised to do his best and go forth firmly with each step.

Fans showed strong support for the drama's finale, but more than the ratings, they showed their love for Lee Min Ho by making him the most followed Korean actor on Instagram.

The actor now has 17.3 million followers on Instagram, beating the former title holder Lee Jong Suk who had 15.9 million followers on the social media platform.

It can be recalled that at the start of the drama last April, Lee Min Ho had only 12.6 million followers, but as the drama progressed, he rose to 16.6 million followers by the drama's end, generating 4 million followers in the space of two months.

However, as of his birthday, it seemed that even more followers flocked to Lee Min Ho's Instagram as it now has 17.3 million followers. For his part, the actor only follows two accounts, donation platform PROMIZ and his agency, MYM Entertainment.
