Chelsea team manager Frank Lampard has indicated that he is done shopping for talents at the moment and it's unlikely that he will pursue Bundesliga sensation Kai Havertz, as reports suggested. Lampard said no bid on the Bayer Leverkusen star was made as his requirements for next season have been largely met with Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech getting on board.

The Blues boss commenting on reports about Havertz seemed inappropriate as the playmaker is not part of his roster. However, Lampard has made clear that no offer was sent to Leverkusen on the possibility of bringing the young German to Stamford Bridge.

On the reports that Chelsea put up an £80 million bid on Havertz, Lampard said: "No bids have gone in."

He added that while the 21-year-old is a top player, there is no point in discussing a player that is not with Chelsea. Lampard maintained that as far as Havertz is concerned, there is nothing to say from his side, per the report from Metro.

Havertz's sensational run in the current term caught the eyes of the elite clubs in Europe. The winger has already scored 16 goals in the season, all the more attracting interest from teams that include Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Lampard's Chelsea.

Despite the speculations that the Blues are keen to add Havertz to the roster, Lampard said the arrival of Werner and Ziyech filled up the openings in the team. He indicated that his lineup is largely complete so there might be no need to make a move when the transfer window opens in the summer.

The manager said his focus is on the concerns at hand, like ensuring that Pedro and Willian will remain available until the end of the season. Good thing for Chelsea, the two players agreed to play through the end of the campaign.

Sky Sports said both signed short term deals but Pedro is all set to make a switch next season. He is headed to Roma when the Premier League games in the season end.

As for Willian, there is a chance that the Brazilian will stick with the Blues but Lampard said the concern of the hour is how the player will perform in the remaining games of the season. The boss said he is optimistic that Willian will choose to still play for Chelsea beyond his current deal.

It was the same hope for Pedro but the Spaniard appeared to have decided on moving forward.

Lampard said he has a good relationship with Willian and the player enjoys the same with Chelsea, which should suggest that the winger could still choose to campaign with the club in the years to come.
