There is apparently no one from among the royal staff who does not like Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. A royal expert said that Prince William's wife is obviously so well-loved by those who work for the royal family.

Tom Quinn told Fox News that every person he has spoken to about Kate had nothing negative to say about the Duchess of Cambridge. He has been doing research for his upcoming book, Kensington Palace: An Intimate Memoir from Queen Mary to Meghan Markle, and learned that people generally see Kate as Prince William's perfect companion.

The author went as far as to describe Kate as the "rock" that keeps Prince William grounded. The Duchess of Cambridge is calm, rational, stable, and does things that makes her happy. She's also very good at not complaining and explaining herself, which is a very popular royal mantra.

Royal author Sarah Gristwood said, in an interview with People, that Kate's biggest strength is understanding her position. She knows what her job is in the royal family. However, she also embraces the pressure of supporting Prince William and not assume that she is superhuman who can do everything.

Another royal author said that Kate is a royal model for the U.K. and the rest of the world. Thus, there is added pressure on her not to make mistakes. She does makes a conscious effort to be perfect, but she's great at not letting this pressure show. Friends of the Duchess of Cambridge said that this is a testament to Kate's character -- she will do what needs to be done with confidence.

Meanwhile, Kate has been doing a great job of keeping with the royal family's engagements amid the coronavirus pandemic. Together with Prince William, she sat down with her husband in countless hours of Zoom meetings with charities and charity beneficiaries to see how they are doing in this global crisis.

But committing to her work also equated to huge sacrifices as Kate apparently has not seen her own family since the coronavirus lockdown three months ago. She revealed during her visit to the garden center recently that the trip to her parents' home in Berkshire from Anmer Hall is about three hours and she has been missing them. Kate, Prince William and their three young kids have been keeping in touch with family through video calls during the lockdown.
