Record setter V just can't seem to stop himself from making a name for himself. This time, Kim Taehyung made history by achieving an iTunes All Kill in all eight Arab countries.

BTS V added a new laurel to his list of accolades by earning the top spot in the iTunes Top Songs Chart in all eight Arab countries including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Bahrain and Jordan.

Kim Taehyung topped the charts for two of his solo songs - Sweet Night from the OST of Itaewon Class, and Inner Child from Map of the Soul:7.

It came as no surprise that V enjoys tremendous popularity in the Middle East ever since BTS' first performance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia last year.

It can be recalled that V caused a massive worldwide trend for the terms Singularitythe guy with the green mic and Kim Taehyung.

Arab fans were so impressed with his performance and outstanding visuals that they wasted no time finding out who he was. International fans were more than helpful in pointing to the direction of Kim Taehyung, adding even more to his legion of faithful fans.

V also broke the iTunes record of any Asian artist on the most number of iTunes No. 1s for a solo release.Sweet Night topped the iTunes charts in 90 countries, effectively beating PSY's record of 86 No. 1s for his megahit song Gangnam Style.

The good news is that V has recently announced that he wanted to release his solo mixtape after being inspired by the success of BTS' rap line RM, J-Hope and Suga.

In a broadcast, Kim Taehyung admitted that he has been spending a lot of time writing songs that he thinks ARMYs will like. V said that he has written eight songs so far but he is unsure if all of them will make the cut if he releases his solo mixtape. He said he is eyeing to release the mixtape within the year but no concrete plans have been set with Big Hit Entertainment yet.

If V pushes through with his plans, he will be the first of the BTS vocal line to release a solo mixtape.  This will also mean that fans will have a lot more of V's solo tracks to appreciate his distinct vocals.

V previously worked on songs like Scenery, Winter Bear and 4'o'clock with RM. V is credited for writing and co-writing these songs by the Korea Music Copyright Association.
