Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are rumored to be an item again. Now, a tabloid claimed the two are taking their romance to the next level and already planning to have a backyard wedding.

Heat published a story this week claiming Kardashian and Thompson have rekindled romance and are now planning to tie the knot. The tabloid alleged that Khloe and Tristan are keeping a low-profile romance so they opted to do a late summer wedding in Kim Kardashian's backyard.

Heat cited a source as saying the Revenge Body star and Thompson hired a top wedding planner to prepare their wedding at Kim's L.A. property. The supposed couple, allegedly, decided to have a low-key, intimate wedding ceremony with only their close family members and friends in attendance.

Aside from allowing the nuptials to take place in her backyard, Kim also, allegedly, helping her sister in the preparation. The SLIMS founder, reportedly, lending a hand to Khloe in picking her wedding gown and honeymoon destination as well as writing her vow.

The insider added Kim and the coronavirus lockdown played major roles in Khloe and Tristan's reconciliation. True's parents have been quarantining together since the lockdown started. The source also assumed that Khloe took Kim's words in the recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that "forgiveness is the best way."

Khloe and the NBA player split early last year after it was revealed that Thompson cheated on the KUWTK star with the KarJenner family friend, Jordyn Woods. Tristan also, allegedly, cheated on Khloé in 2018 while she was pregnant with their daughter, True.

Gossip Cop, however, has doubts about the alleged backyard wedding. In the KUWTK episode aired in April, the Good American founder admitted that she considered asking Thompson to be a sperm donor for her possible child in the future. However, she did not say that they are back together.

It is worthy to note though that reality show's episodes were filmed months before airing. This means there is still a possibility that the ex-couple could have rekindled romance.

Gossip Cop, however, noted that even though Khloe and Tristan do get back together, a wedding at this point may not be on top of their priorities. The publication noted that a nuptial with a few dozen invited people would still mean breaking social distancing guidelines and COVID-19 will probably still be around and remain a health threat by late summer.

The outlet added that this wasn't the first time that Heat insisted that Khloe and Tristan were getting married. Back in 2018, the tabloid claimed the basketball player and Khloe were getting married even at the time, Tristan was in the center of a cheating scandal. It suggested that Tristan only needed to make a public apology and Khloe was ready to forgive and marry him.
