According to royal author Victoria Murphy, Kate Middleton has grown a lot in confidence since becoming a member of the royal family, when she married Prince William in 2011. Over the years, the Duchess of Cambridge has been showing that she is an effective leader. She is someone who can be like Queen Elizabeth as a team player and a listener rather than a talker.
Another royal expert, Angela Levin, said that Kate is a perfectionist who gets the nerves when she feels she is not doing things right. But the Duchess of Cambridge exudes such confidence that she looks relaxed and comfortable in her work. Like Queen Elizabeth, you'll never if something else was bothering her.
The one other similarity Kate has with Queen Elizabeth is that they both love the outdoors. Princess Diana wasn't into several outdoor activities as much as Kate is today. For that matter, the Queen is such as nature lover and relishes in her time with her horses.
The comparison comes as the Queen and her husband, Prince Philip, are reportedly keeping a close watch over Kate Middleton and Prince William. As the future of the British monarchy, the older royals don't want the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to make the same mistakes as their predecessors.
