Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced back in January that they were stepping down from their senior royal roles. Their announcement came to a shock to everyone, especially the Royal Family members.

Earlier reports even shared that Prince William was “really, very hurt” after learning about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s withdrawal. However, biographer Nigel Cawthorne claimed in his new book “Prince Andrew, Epstein and the Palace” that the Duke of Cambridge already knew this was coming as he and Prince Charles “orchestrated” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s shocking royal exit.

Prince Charles and Prince William allegedly used Prince Andrew’s trainwreck BBC Newsnight interview to leak stories that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were stepping down from their roles. But royal commentators Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito found the outrageous claims hard to believe.

"Why on Earth would Harry's dad want him to leave the family? Roberta Fiorito said on the Royally Obsessed podcast, after learning the rumors about Prince Charles and Prince William “orchestrated” Megxit.

The royal expert pointed out that Nigel Cawthorne’s claims were impossible as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle themselves made it clear that it was their choice to quit royal life. Rachel Bowie then added that Prince Charles and Prince William both love the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, so the allegations were far from the truth.

It was previously speculated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were feuding with the Royal Family, and their exit seemingly confirmed the rift rumors. However, Roberta Fiorito said that whatever issues they had before the Megxit seemed to have already mended.

In fact, royal expert Katie Nicholl previously revealed that Prince William and Prince Harry have been chatting on video calls. The Duke of Sussex moved to Los Angeles with Meghan Markle and their son Archie after their royal exit, but the distance did not hinder the brothers to stay connected. She then added that the tension between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle has cooled down as well.

Another royal expert Nick Bullen told Fox News that Prince William wants to rebuild his relationship with Prince Harry. The Duke of Cambridge is reconnecting with his younger brother through several private Zoom calls during the coronavirus lockdown. He also reminded everyone that the future king said earlier this year that the Duke of Sussex will always be his brother.
