Prince Andrew will not be able to escape the scandal of his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. A Public Relations expert believes that the Duke of York will keep spiraling unless he does something he has refused to do.

PR guru Mark Borkowski said that Prince Andrew's PR nightmare seemingly does not have any exit strategy. Because he is so "inextricably linked" to his friend, the effects of Epstein's scandal will continue to hound the Duke of York.

Borkowski, however, believes that Prince Andrew might be able to shift public perception to his favor if he does one thing -- invite the U.S. authorities to London for a sit down. The PR expert said that Prince Andrew might be able to take the heat off if he willingly explains to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) the relationship he has with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

This comes as Prince Andrew is, reportedly, agonizing over the arrest of Maxwell, who has been tagged as Epstein's pimp in his sexual trafficking activities. Apparently, the Duke of York fears that he will be making enemies if he talks to the FBI.

Maxwell also, allegedly, holds a lot of secrets that may implicate Prince Andrew and soil the legacy of Queen Elizabeth. It was Maxwell who introduced a then-17-year-old Virginia Roberts to the Duke of York.

Roberts, who now goes by her married name Virginia Giuffre, said that, as a minor, she had sexual relations with Prince Andrew three times in Epstein's parties. But Prince Andrew denied having ever met the girl in a live interview with the BBC in November 2019.

In that same interview, Prince Andrew also admitted no regrets for his friendship with Epstein. His connection with the pedophile apparently made him closer to "useful" people.

The BBC sit down drew major backlash that Prince Andrew was forced to resign from his royal duties. He has not been seen in public engagements since quitting his royal roles and some say that this resignation could be permanent.

Maxwell was arrested on July 2 and could face 35 years in prison if she's proven guilty of charges like Conspiracy to Transport Minors with Intent to Engage in Criminal Sexual Activity and Conspiracy to Entice Minors to Travel to Engage in Illegal Sex Acts. Prince Andrew's friend has repeatedly said that she had done nothing wrong.

With Maxwell in custody, the FBI apparently wants Prince Andrew to be in the case as a witness. However, the FBI has said many times that the Duke of York has not been cooperating with the investigations, which Prince Andrew's legal team denies.
