Prince Andrew might have denied in a TV interview that he doesn't know anything about the illegal activities of his friend, Jeffrey Epstein. However, a common friend of the Duke of York and Ghislaine Maxwell, who was Epstein's girlfriend, said that there's a secret video of the royal with the girls, as filmed by Maxwell.
Christina Oxenberg, who is Maxwell's friend and Prince Andrew's distant cousin, told The Sun that Maxwell used to boast that she records the girls she procured for Epstein's sexual trafficking ring as they met the "johns." Apparently, one of these johns was Prince Andrew but Oxenberg said he can't claim to be a victim of Maxwell's actions.
The real victims are the young women that Epstein and Maxwell exploited for several years. Maxwell was recently arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and is now facing six counts of sex trafficking and perjury with the New York court.
Oxenberg thinks that Maxwell will be cooperating with the FBI to avoid a long prison sentence. Oxenberg said that she is also willing to testify in court against Maxwell, if needed. She already told the FBI in 2019 what Maxwell divulged to her when she was working on her biography.
Sources said that Prince Andrew should be very concerned about what Maxwell will do next in order to save herself. The Duke of York was warned not to set foot in America since he will likely be detained once he is there.
Authorities investigating the Epstein case said that they still would like to talk to Prince Andrew despite having Maxwell in custody. According to the New York Post, the Duke of York is still not in the clear because the prosecutors want to probe into the inner circle of the pedophile Epstein further.
In a statement to the press, acting U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss said that they still welcome Prince Andrew "coming in" to talk to the FBI. They want to still receive an official statement from the Duke of York.
The legal team of Prince Andrew, however, said that they have gotten in touch with the U.S. authorities but was "ghosted." They have also sent several emails to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI but Prince Andrew was still perceived as uncooperative.
The Duke of York was friends for several years with Epstein and frequented his parties, where many young women were guests. Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019, still stands in trial for employing minor women to have sex with his influential friends at his private island.
