Princess Eugenie celebrated the lifting of the lockdown in the U.K. with a double date. The York princess was spotted in Notting Hill with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and their good friends, married couple Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling.

According to Tatler, the foursome was spotted going to the Casa Cruz restaurant for a dinner date. Princess Eugenie dressed in a smashing black leather pants and black top, paired with a red silk Galvan coat. Her husband was in casual jeans and shirt, and even carried a backpack.

Goulding, on the other hand, also dressed up for the double date with a silk emerald dress. Jopling donned the most casual attire in jacket, jeans and sneakers.

Princess Eugenie and Goulding have been longtime friends, along with Princess Beatrice. They were guests at each other's wedding and it is believed that Goulding and Caspar met through the royal sisters, according to Hello

Goulding is also good friends with Princess Eugenie's cousins, Prince William and Prince Harry. The singer even performed for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding in 2011.

During the coronavirus lockdown, Princess Eugenie and Jack were isolating at the Royal Lodge, the home of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. Jack's dad, George Brooksbank, suffered from coronavirus for several weeks, which he contracted following a trip to France. But he is slowly recovering from the disease after staying at the ICU.

On Father's Day, Princess Eugenie posted a thank you message for the healthcare workers who took care of her husband's father. She said that they have done their best to save his life and George now proudly calls himself the miracle man for bouncing back from his nearly fatal experience with the dreaded virus.

Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie kept herself busy despite the lockdown by doing a lot of charity work. She enlisted Jack and her parents to send care packages to the hospital workers who have been stressed out from the overwhelming number of COVID-19 patients to be treated.

Princess Eugenie also did a few video calls with the charities she supports. Some of these video calls were in collaboration with her older sister, Princess Beatrice, who has been staying at her fiance's home with her future mother-in-law.

The York princess is also rumored to be planning her first child with Jack, after nearly two years of marriage. Speculations are that the royal family should expect a happy baby news by the end of the year.
