In her own letter, Lee Hi said that it took a long time before she arrived at the decision to leave YG Entertainment which has been her agency since her debut. She said that she is thankful to the agency and the people who have helped her along the way.

She also promised to be more prudent in choosing the next agency she will sign with and promised fans to share with them her good news soon.
