Prince William and Harry are, reportedly, keeping their Zoom chats formal and within boundaries, allegedly because there are concerns that their conversations may be exposed to different kinds of security breaches.
A palace insider revealed to U.K. royal correspondent Neil Sean that Prince Harry's new house in Los Angeles may be easily exposed to "all kinds of mishaps security-wise" compared to their security measures in the U.K. So, Prince William and Harry have been staying connected, albeit behaving formally in their conversations, as a matter of caution. Apparently, the palace is concerned that their video calls could be leaked to the press if it has been breached.
The formal conversations, however, are reportedly making Prince Harry a lot sadder and more disconnected from his family in the U.K. He is, apparently, unable to chat with his beloved nephews and niece -- Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte -- because of the security concerns.
According to Daily Mail, Prince William video calls his brother when his children have had supper and gone to bed. Around this time, it's lunch in Los Angeles, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live in the home of producer and actor Tyler Perry.
Another source told the news outlet that Prince William keep tabs of Prince Harry in a low key and casual tone. They are the only ones in the conversation to, allegedly, take the pressure off.
The royal brothers have been, reportedly, patching their rift after Prince Harry decided to leave the U.K. with his wife. The Duke of Sussex has also had video calls with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and father, Prince Charles, especially after he was diagnosed with coronavirus in late March.
Prince William and Harry, reportedly, have a go-between in their former protection officer Mark Dyer. The source said that Mark and Prince Harry have been having long transatlantic chats to convince him to straighten things out with Prince William.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Harry came to an agreement to split the proceeds of their mother's charity fund. Financial documents signed last December showed that the Dukes of Cambridge and Sussex have decided that donations received from the Diana Fund will be divided between The Royal Foundation, under Prince William and Kate Middleton, and the Sussex Royal Foundation, under Prince Harry and Meghan.
However, since Prince Harry and Meghan have filed for the dissolution of the Sussex Royal Foundation, the brothers agreed that Prince Harry's share will go to a charity of his choosing. According to reports, Prince Harry has chosen Sentebale as the recipient of the proceeds.
