It's safe to say that nobody enjoys doing chores. In fact, most people would probably do anything just to get out of the responsibility of cleaning up and doing the dishes. Not surprisingly, idols are just the same and MONSTA X's Hyungwon proved it when he agreed to take on Minhyuk and Joohoney just to avoid doing the after-dinner clean up with Shownu. Amazingly, Chae Hyungwon decided to take on the challenge although it meant he would still be doing some cleaning the following day.

The members of MONSTA X recently went on holiday which was documented in their show MONSTA X Is Now On Vacation. Although the 10 episodes are over, there were also bonus episodes dubbed the Director's Cuts which revealed some awesome behind-the-scenes footage of the boy group having fun. In the first Director's Cut, it was confirmed that the idols decided to play a badminton game right after they arrived at their cabin. The match had Hyungwon and Minhyuk pairing up against Kihyun and Joohoney while Shownu and I.M. served as referees.

Although nothing was at stake in their first badminton game except a couple of butt slaps, that quickly changed in the evening when Shownu and Hyungwon were chosen by MONSTA X's little dancing llama to tidy up and do the dishes. It was evident that Chae Hyungwon was unhappy with his predicament since he had already washed dishes earlier. To cheer him up, Minhyuk dropped an offer Hyungwon couldn't resist: if Hyungwon beats Lee Mihyuk and Joohoney in a badminton game, they will do the dishes in his place but if he loses, he will need to do the clean up after breakfast the following day.

Needless to say, Hyungwon was determined to win the badminton game against Minhyuk and Joohoney. But what was the reason why Lee Minhyuk even offered the deal in the first place. Minhyuk later explained to Lee Jooheon that he wanted to avoid cleaning up in the morning so they could sleep in. However, the plan backfired on them rather quickly.

Hyungwon quickly defeated Minhyuk and Joohoney in the first match 5:3 and became even more determined to win the second match. This time, it was a race to get six points and Chae Hyungwon managed to trick the two with a powerful smash. Not surprisingly, Hyungwon immediately did a victory run around the yard when he was declared the winner.

All 10 episodes of MONSTA X Is Now On Vacation, including the two Director's Cut episodes, are now available for streaming on Seezn and VLive.
