Amazon has slashed the price of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's controversial book, Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family. Now, it's a puzzle to many why the company reduces its price ahead of its release.

The said autobiography will, reportedly, detail Prince Harry and Meghan's decision to step down as senior royals. From the original price of £20, interested buyers can now have it for only £13.60Daily Mail noted.

Finding Freedom is set to be out in August. As Amazon suddenly cuts its price to almost 35%, there are questions if it means the public disapproves of the book.

According to ExpressFinding Freedom will reveal the real reason behind the Sussexes' decision to step back from their royal duties and move to America. After they moved to Canada, they relocated to Los Angeles and are now living in a Beverly Hills mansion owned by the Hollywood star Tyler Perry.

Although they mostly stayed in the $18-million villa, they were spotted delivering food supplies to the vulnerable people of LA during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Finding Freedom is written by the royal experts Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. Scobie lives in London and is the editor of Harper's Bazaar. He, reportedly, has strong connections with the younger members of the Royal Family, including Meghan.

Durand, alternatively, has been in London for almost 20 years. She covers major royal developments and other events.

The book's promotional literature revealed Prince Harry and Meghan's budding romance caught everyone's attention and sparked an international media frenzy. However, although they are often in the headlines, only a few know the Sussexes' real story.

Finding Freedom will go beyond the headlines to reveal the unknown details about Prince Harry and Meghan's life together. It will dispel the rumors and misconceptions that continuously grapple the couple.

To recall, Prince Harry and Meghan made a huge surprise when they dropped their bombshell announcement in January. They revealed their plan to step down as senior members of the Royal Family and become "financially independent."

After the negotiations with the royals, led by Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, and Prince William, it was decided that they had to drop their Sussex Royal brand. They also had to pay the taxpayer money used to refurbish their former Frogmore Cottage house.

They initially planned to divide their time between North America and the U.K. However, as the coronavirus hit the world, Prince Harry and Meghan weren't able to do so.
