Wynonna Earp season 4 is finally coming later this week on Syfy and many were excited to see the titular character back in the small screen. Fans have been waiting for the arrival of the new installment since it has been off-air for more than a year.
Now that the wait is over, Wynonna Earp season 4 needs to address a lot of stories. The titular character has to deal with several things, including whether or not she could save Waverly. Her relationships with others will be tested and some new arrivals could further shake the story up.
Wynonna's actions could also have consequences that may alter the course of her life. In the synopsis of the premiere episode, titled "On the Road Again," she must find a way to get into the Garden before her sister gets trapped there forever.
In the second episode, titled "Friends in Low Places," Wynonna will be working with a new ally to rescue her family but this reunion comes at a price. What's interesting here is that we're going to see her working alongside a new ally.
Wynonna Earp season 4 will see the titular character trying to find ways to save and rescue the people that she loves, as well as the town of Purgatory. She needs to take on her most diabolical and Earp-hating enemy without the help of her trustworthy gun, PeaceMaker.
The new installment will bring a whole new series of adventure, more exciting stories, and unexpected twists and turns. Some of the recent preview photos also featured Wynonna, Waverly, Nicole, and Doc in action. The images also teased that the titular character was able to save her sister.
Meanwhile, lead star Melanie Scrofano confirmed via Twitter that they are back to filming to wrap up the remaining episodes of Wynonna Earp season 4. They were able to resume filming, largely because the series' location is in Canada.
Despite that, certain guidelines were set to make sure everyone on the set is safe. Although Canada is in better shape when it comes to the health crisis, there are still a lot of things that should be followed. Some scenes might be limited and there could be a few people on set as part of social distancing.
Wynonna Earp season 4 premieres on Sunday, July 26, on Syfy. Then, the series will continue airing until August 30 before going on a break. There is no indication when the second part will be released, but some believe it could arrive at some point in 2021.
