U.S. President Donald Trump once told the media to "ask Prince Andrew" about what he called "cesspool" private island of Jeffrey Epstein in an unearthed 2015 interview. The POTUS answered questions about the sexual abuse that occurred on the mysterious Little St James, the Caribbean island, which the criminal sex offender owned.

Journalists asked Melania Trump's husband about the island shortly before he joined the 2016 presidential race. According to Stuff, Donald seemed to be sure that the place was indeed a "cesspool" and he had no doubt about it.

He, then, told the media to ask Prince Andrew about the questionable island instead, as he would tell them about it. According to reports, the flight logs showed that the 60-year-old royal visited the private island, boarding Epstein's private jet, once. However, a former staff member revealed that he, allegedly, went to the place several times.

Recently, Donald also talked about Epstein's alleged madam and long-time associate, Ghislaine Maxwell at a White House press conference. Just like Sarah Ferguson's husband, the President is another prominent figure that used to be acquainted with the disgraced financier and the British socialite.

When asked if he thought Maxwell would turn in some powerful men, Donald said he had no idea. He even admitted that he was not following the case that much and just wished Maxwell "well."

The Telegraph, via Tatler, reported that there are rumors Maxwell might disclose information about her powerful connections to the authorities. Aside from Prince Andrew, some of her and Epstein's former high-profile acquaintances were Bill Clinton and Donald, who were both not accused of any wrongdoing regarding the case.

Anyhow, he admitted that he met Maxwell several times over the years since he lived in Palm Beach, where they also resided before. Donald and his wife, Melania, were even photographed with Epstein and Maxwell at Trump's Mar-a-Lago hotel in Florida in 2000.

Meanwhile, Virginia Robert Giuffre, Epstein's alleged "teenage sex slave," claimed she was forced to sleep with Prince Andrew on three occasions, including the one when she was only 17. She alleged that Maxwell trafficked her from the U.S. to London, where she met the duke.

However, Prince Andrew, repeatedly, denied the allegation, insisting he could not recall meeting Giuffre. His legal team even got involved in a war of words with the U.S. prosecutors after the U.S. Department of Justice claimed the prince was refusing to cooperate to be a witness and give evidence into Epstein's investigation.
