BLINKs are having a lot of fun guessing who will the featured artist in BLACKPINK's new comeback track after YG Entertainment released the first teaser for their second pre-release single. Ariana Grande is one of the top celebrity picks on the BLINKs' radar.

According to a report by All Kpop, fans think it is quite likely that Ariana Grande will be revealed as BLACKPINK's latest collaborator because of her friendship with BLACKPINK's Rose.

It can be recalled that Ariana, also, spent some time with BLACKPINK members during their first performance at the Coachella Festival last year.

Both Ariana and her producer Tommy Brown have also been liking Jennie's recent social media posts, leading BLINKs to speculate that a collab is being prepared for release.

One of the biggest clue that a BLACKPINK X Ariana Grande collaboration happened last year was when Tommy Brown, who produced Ariana Grande's Thank You, Next posted a photo on Instagram where he was hanging out with BLACKPINK members.

Ariana, who was on tour at the time, immediately reacted to the image and requested that she be photoshopped into the group picture, which Brown immediately obliged. BLACKPINK members also reacted to her request and shared messages with Ariana Grande, Soompi reported last year.

This will not be the first time that BLACKPINK will be collaborating with a powerhouse international artist. They first collaborated with Dua Lipa for the megahit Kiss and Make Up which broke streaming records on Spotify.

BLACKPINK, also, broke their year-long hiatus through their collaboration with Lady Gaga, for Sour Candy. The song was featured in the Mother Monster's Chromatica album.

In an interview, Lady Gaga said she was the one who reached out to BLACKPINK with the idea to collaborate on the song. She said she was impressed by the members' passion for their music and the strength they projected in their performances. For her new album, she said she was honored to be the fifth BLACKPINK member.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, recently, broke the record of Ariana Grande and became the most subscribed female artist on YouTube, Soompi reported.

According to YG Entertainment, Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rose surpassed 42,300,000 subscribers on their official YouTube page on July 24.

The figure edged out Ariana Grande who formerly held the record as the most subscribed female artist with 42,200,000 subscribers, Taylor Swift, who has 38,500,000 subscribers and Katy Perry who has 37,700,000 subsrcibers.

BLACKPINK has proven their popularity on the streaming platform by regularly breaking viewing records for their MVs and even practice videos.
