Microsoft held earlier today the Xbox Games Showcase following its first-look at next-gen consoles in May. Today's showcase lasts for an hour, providing fans a sneak peek of what's happening in the Xbox world. Xbox also announced the games and revealed some of the gameplays that excite fans and gamers.

"As Dusk Falls"

It is a debut game of London game developer Interior/Night. The game is set in the Arizona desert in 1999 and follows the story of two families whose 'trajectories collide' over a 30-year timespan. "As Dusk Falls" intends to use the power of interactivity to push its storytelling element further.

"Crossfire X"

The game is a previously PC-exclusive franchise and would debut on Xbox platforms by the end of this year. The game's Campaign mode is developed by "Control" creators, Remedy Entertainment.

"Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes Of An Elusive Age - Definitive Edition"

The game was previously available only on the Nintendo Switch. Square Enix finally launches "Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes Of An Elusive Age - Definitive Edition" to Xbox Series X and Xbox One by Dec 2020. The game also releases on PC and PlayStation 4. It is a remake of the successful Nintendo 3DS title with impressive visuals and audio.

"Fable"

Following a series of leaks and rumors, Playground games finally announced the latest entry in the series dubbed as "Fable." There is very little official information about the game, considering that the teaser trailer is quite short. But, based on the trailer, it looks like the game is a soft reboot of the series.

"Halo Infinite"

"Halo Infinite" launches a lengthy campaign gameplay demo. It comes with a video of the Master Chief, Covenant, the long-rumored Grappling Hook equipment, and the new Banished Brutes. Unfortunately, the team did not offer any specific release date of "Halo Infinite." Rumors have it that the game might launch alongside Xbox Series X sometime in the holiday of 2020.

"Psychonauts 2"

This is the first time that game developer Double Fine created a sequel to its game, making the existence of "Psychonauts 2" a great deal for the new Xbox Games Studio. The game will star "School of Rock" actor Jack Black. "Psychonauts 2" would arrive sometime in 2021.

Other games revealed at today's Xbox Series X gameplay event includes "Senua's Saga: Hellblade II," "State of Decay 3," "Tetris effect: Connected," "Warhammer 40,000: Dark Tide," "Watch Dogs: Legion" and "Forza Motorsport" among others. Xbox Series X is scheduled to arrive in the holiday of 2020
