Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish are taking their bromance to a whole new level. The two are about to release a book together and that is on top of their new TV series, Men in Kilts.

Heughan revealed that he and McTavish would be releasing a travelogue, titled Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other. He shared the new project on his Instagram page while reminding everyone that preorder for the book is already available.

On the Clanlands website, the pair also shared a short clip explaining what their travelogue will be about. They also talked about why they decided to reunite for this project and how it came about.

According to Heughan, he and McTavish have been very active in exploring the "wonders of modern technology" while in COVID-19 lockdown in different parts of the world. It can be recalled that the Bloodshot actor has been stranded in Hawaii for months after he failed to return to Scotland when travel restrictions were implemented due to the pandemic.

Sam Heughan said he and Graham worked on their book for at least three months and they would love to share it with their fans. He gave a bit of information on how they decided on the book title and the inspiration behind it.

Heughan said he and McTavish traveled Scotland together and as they do, they documented the people that they meet, the places they visited, and history that they have learned. He, also, hinted that their fans would be able to read some of their road trip "near-death" experiences that were never seen in their Scottish-centric travel and culture TV series, Men in Kilts.

Graham, on the other hand, said the book is a dream come true for him. He admitted that he wanted to write a book since he was a teenager.

It turned out he and Sam have the same interest. Heughan wanted the same thing for a long time, even before they met each other.

Meanwhile, fans of Outlander and the two Scotsmen shared their excitement about the new project. One commented that she already preordered the new book and can't wait to be the first to read it.

Clandlands will be released on November 10, 2020. It is now available for pre-order here

Sam Heughan famously played the role of Jamie Fraser in the TV adaptation of Diana Gabaldon's novel, Outlander. McTavish, on the other hand, portrayed Jamie's uncle, Dougal MacKenzie, in the first two seasons of the Starz series and as William "Buck" MacKenzie in the most recent installment.
