Angelina Jolie is, allegedly, turning into a desperate ex-wife and has been using her children to spy on Brad Pitt. A tabloid claimed the Maleficent actress has been employing her children to play detectives on Brad Pitt and his supposed girlfriend, Alia Shawkat.
Jolie and Pitt are in a more cordial relationship at the moment. They have been doing great in co-parenting their six children and the actor could now visit them at Jolie's house.
However, Life & Style doesn't seem to convince that Jolie and Pitt have been treating each other as friends again. It implied that the Kung Fu Panda actress has been using her children to spy on their father.
The tabloid cited a source saying Jolie is, also, using her children to gather information on their former husband's life particularly on whoever he is dating. Jolie is, allegedly, targeting Alia Shawkat, who has been rumored to be dating the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor.
Brad Pitt and the Arrested Development actress first sparked dating rumors last year when they were spotted in several events together. They were seen at Kanye West's Nebuchadnezzar opera at the Hollywood Bowl last year as well as at the Wilding Cran Gallery in L.A. The last time they were seen hanging out together was in March when they were photographed grabbing a meal in L.A.
According to Life & Style, Alia Shawkat made Angelina Jolie "unhinged." The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees special envoy, as per reports, constantly asks her kids questions about Pitt and Shawkat.
The source, however, claimed Angelina wasn't jealous of Brad's new romance. Her intention in spying was to merely gather information.
The insider added Pitt knows that the kids are telling their mother about their experiences whenever they spend overnight at his house, including their alleged interaction with Shawkat. But, the Fight Club actor, apparently, wasn't worried about whatever his children would tell Jolie about Alia as the latter has been treating them well and she is sweet to them.
Gossip Cop dismissed the story that Jolie is spying on Pitt's dating life, particularly on Shawkat. The publication stressed that Brad and Alia were not dating so there is nothing for Jolie to be nosy about. It added that it is highly unlikely that Jolie would be using her children to gather information about their father's love life, considering she has been known as an advocate of children's welfare.
Gossip Cop added this wasn't the first time that Life & Style painted The Eternals actress like a villain in Pitt's life. A few months ago, it claimed Angelina Jolie prohibited Pitt from introducing his first ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, to their kids. Gossip Cop debunked the claim.
