Portia de Rossi defended her wife, Ellen DeGeneres, amidst the "toxic" host and "toxic workplace" allegations that the Emmy-winning host has been facing at the moment. De Rossi also hinted that the attack on Ellen could be an orchestrated one.

De Rossi expressed her support to DeGeneres through her social media post on Monday. She shared the message that read, "I Stand By Ellen," along with several hashtags that showed she is standing up for the TV host.

However, many noticed one particular hashtag that Portia used: #stopbotattacks. It is unclear what de Rossi meant by the hashtag. However, the Huffington Post noted the Australian-American model-actress has been responding to the series of stories published by BuzzFeed about the allegation of mistreatment, racism, bullying, and more at the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

De Rossi's post has been liked over 79,000 times and received more than 7,600 comments. Many of the comments were questions on whether or not the Scandal actress thinks the employees of Ellen's show, who have shared their experiences and complaints, were all liars.

Another hashtag on Portia de Rossi's post that netizen can't help by notice was the #bekindtooneanother. The phrase "be kind to one another" has been Ellen's mantra on the show and she closes out her TV program each day with the same phrase. Many commented that the award-winning host doesn't live with her words and her "be kind" attitude was just for the camera.

Ellen DeGeneres had already issued an apology to her employees, saying she was unaware of the toxic work environment at the show. She, also, vowed to correct the issues.

However, many doubted that the Finding Dory actress wasn't aware of what is happening at her show. The doubts deepened when former Ellen DeGeneres Show producer Hedda Muskat, also, revealed that the comedian is aware of what is happening at her show and that she even allowed the "culture of fear" ever since the NBC program started.

Muskat recalled an incident when former executive producer Ed Glavin started screaming at a staffer during a meeting. Instead of saying something to stop the abuse, Muskat said DeGeneres just crossed her legs up on the chair and said every production needs to have a "dog."

Meanwhile, WarnerMedia has launched an internal investigation over allegations of a "toxic" work environment at the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Reports have it that current and former staff members will be interviewed about their experiences on set. The future of Portia de Rossi's wife's show will depend on the result of the investigation.
