Jimin is part of the “Dance Line” of BTS, or famously called the 3J (J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook). Before he became a part of the Big Hit Entertainment boy group, the “Filter” singer was known as the top dance student at Busan High School of Art.

Jimin has been trained in contemporary dance, making him one of the best dancers, not only in BTS but in the whole K-pop world as well. He is one of those idols who is born to dance. He would spend countless hours perfecting the group's choreography and refining his technique to reach the top dancer level.

During an episode of Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, the cast members asked Jimin if he was popular as a dancer in his hometown before BTS debuted. The 24-year-old singer, songwriter, and dancer shocked everyone when he said that he wasn’t famous at all.

Jimin confessed that he struggled with dancing as a trainee. Even though the BTS singer has an impressive dance background, he shared that K-pop choreographies are very different from the type of dancing he learned.

The cast members were stunned with Jimin’s revelation and asked Jin if his fellow BTS star was always this humble. Mr. Worldwide Handsome confirmed Jimin’s humility, but he made everyone burst into laughter when he added that he was the exact opposite of Jimin as he’s someone who is “shameless.”

One of the cast members then asked Jin if what was his first thought on Jimin’s dancing. Before he could even say a word, Jimin interrupted and said that the “Moon” singer told him he’s going to get fired because of his dancing skills.

Jin laughed and quickly denied Jimin’s claim. He said that he would get into trouble if the episode airs.

“No, I never said that. Jimin has a lot of fans, so if this conversation is exposed, I’ll be in trouble,” Jin shared.

Meanwhile, despite not being a part of the dance line, Jin was praised by a dance director for his dance skill, and he was pretty proud of it. BangtanTV previously shared a video from BTS’s “Dionysus” stage at Inkigayo, where Jin could be seen telling Jimin about what the dance director told him.

ARMYs know that Jin is never short on confidence, so he took things up a notch and compared his dancing skills to Jimin’s. “I’m proud of that. I want to compare my dance skills with your skills. It’s like small differences,” he told the younger BTS star.
