Tesla Model 3, The Fastest-Selling Used Car

The latest information about the Tesla Model 3 was shared by iSeeCars recently. The study looked at more than 9 million transactions between March and June 2020 for cars with model years ranging from 2015 until 2019. The report revealed that Tesla Model 3 is the top car to spend the least time listed for sale.

Based on the study, the Tesla Model 3 only spent an average of 29 days of listing. Used cars usually linger for 69 days on average after being listed for sale and purchased by consumers. Apart from Model 3, a couple of other Tesla vehicles made it to the list.

On the sixth spot is the Tesla Model X electric SUV, with an average of 47 days on sales. Meanwhile, the Tesla Model S sits on the tenth spot spending an average of 51 days before someone picks it and takes it home. According to the recent study, the Tesla Model S and Model X are the hot pre-owned purchases because of the over-the-air updates.

In China, a recent survey revealed that Chinese consumers view the Made in China (MIC) Tesla Model 3 as the top quality sedan among its rivals. The recent survey reflects the quality of electric vehicles Tesla produced in its Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai, China. Recently, reports revealed that Tesla is on a hiring spree in the region. It can be recalled that CEO Elon Musk said in January 2020 that it intends to double the production of the Gigafactory 3. It also said that aside from the Tesla Model 3, the company aims to produce Tesla Model Y in its Shanghai plant.
