Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper seem to have rekindled their close friendship since a beach getaway. Their relationship is now deeper after the 48-year-old actress' split from her boyfriend, John Miller.
A source told In Touch that Garner and Cooper are "super close." They have known each other a long time.
They worked together on the hit television series Alias from 2001 to 2006. Playing the roles of two best friends Sydney and Will they have since maintained a good relationship.
They have always been "at ease with each other," the insider said. They were recently seen enjoying time together in Malibu, according to photos TMZ published.
Although they seem to have a "strictly platonic relationship" the tipster said this may be the best time for them "to be together." They have been close friends for so long, at each other's side through ups and downs.
The source said Garner was one of the first people Cooper met when he moved to Los Angeles as a budding actor.
The Peppermint star reportedly sees the 45-year-old actor as a brother but that may change as they are both single. The insider said there would always be a possibility their friendship would turn into something more.
After Garner's split from Miller she was seen enjoying a beach playdate with Cooper and his 3-year-old daughter Lea De Seine whom he shares with supermodel ex-partner Irina Shayk. According to Daily Mail, they were all smiles as they built sandcastles, looking like a happy family.
There was also a flirty exchange. The Star is Born actor was seen exercising in front of Garner.
Garner and Miller are said to have parted ways. The breakup happened before the coronavirus lockdown in Los Angeles.
Despite that, they remain amicable. Although there is still a strong possibility they may rekindle their romance it is over for now. They were together for fewer than two years.
Before Garner and Miller became a thing, she was once married to Ben Affleck. They started dating in 2004, got married in 2005 and divorced in 2018.
Cooper has yet to have a serious relationship since his split from Shayk last year. Rumors he had a thing with Lady Gaga when they did A Star is Born proved to be false.
