Jimin is the smallest member of BTS, but he is definitely not the weakest. In fact, the “Filter” singer had an extremely muscular body during the group’s debut.
While Jimin has softened his look now, he still can’t hide the trace of his muscular physique in the past. When the BTS star wears tight pants, ARMYs couldn’t help but point out how strong his thighs are.
But, Jimin’s thighs are not his only strong body parts. In a funny challenge in Rookie King, the BTS singer proved that he is strong from head to toe.
After picking the skull card, Jimin was tasked to break some chopsticks. But, breaking them with his hands is just too mainstream for the staff. So, Jimin was told to break the utensils with his backside.
The task seemed to be impossible, and Jimin’s first attempt proved how hard it was. The BTS star struggled to snap them, and the rest of the boys burst into laughter. (Watch the clip here).
Jimin decided to give it another try. However, the result was just the same as his first one. The other boys even commented that the whole scene looked embarrassing.
Basing on RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, and Jungkook’s facial expressions, they were not convinced that Jimin would complete the task — but he did. The “Promise” singer broke the chopsticks in half with his butt, leaving his members in shock. Jin even gave him a much-deserved applause. (Watch the clip here).
Meanwhile, a previous Bangtan Bomb episode with the title “BTS reacts to BTS debut+5 Days” showed RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook sitting together and watching their old selves from seven years ago, five days into their debut.
The boys looked extremely young in the old video, and they even noticed how skinny they were at the time — except for Jimin. When the interviewer asked: “Do you have a killer move for the audience?” Suga told Jimin to do it.
Although he looked stunned, Jimin obliged and did his epic “No More Dream” dance move, where he raised his shirt while doing a slow spin. His abs were so defined that all the present boys, including Jimin, were in awe.
“Man, you had no body fat back then,” Suga told Jimin. “Incredible,” RM said. “Amazing,” J-Hope chimed in.
After watching the whole thing, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook discussed the video. At one point, Jimin admired his incredible physique.
