Viewers will be seeing more of Olivia Swann's Astra in Legends of Tomorrow season 6 as the actress has been promoted as a series regular in the new installment. The character still has a lot of stories to tell, especially when it comes to finding personal redemption.

According to a report from TVLine, Astra will be more visible in Legends of Tomorrow season 6 and her story will be further explored. She started as a Big Bad in the series, but it looks like she'll become a part of the Waverider community moving forward.

In season 5 finale, Astra decided to explore the human world -- making her future uncertain. Now, it seems like the series will open more stories for her in the new season. Perhaps, we could see her trying to live a normal life on Earth. Then, something bad happens and the Legends might need her help.

Fans could see more growth for Astra, as well as a chance to address everything that she went through involving her mother. Also, executive producer Phil Klemmer told the aforementioned website that the character needs to figure out a lot of things and that could be "super, super fascinating."

He added that Astra is great for Constantine, given that their history provides a great dynamic. Klemmer further noted that the character is "totally amoral and cutthroat," which are awesome energies to have on the team of "big-hearted sweeties."

Aside from Swann, Legends of Tomorrow season 6, also, promoted Shayan Sobhian as series regular. His character, Behrad, will be an essential part of the story. He was first introduced in the series back in season 4, after the Legends changed the history and erased his sister, Zari, in the timeline.

However, even though the series promoted these characters, some familiar faces are not coming back in Legends of Tomorrow season 6. For instance, Maisie Richardson-Sellers won't be reprising his role as Charlie in the new season.

The previous installment, also, saw the departure of Courtney Ford's Nora Darhk and Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer/The Atom. Hence, Swan and Sobhian's promotion only makes sense, given that the story needs to have a sense of continuity after some characters left the series.

Meanwhile, CarterMatt noted a new character is coming on board in Legends of Tomorrow season 6. But, it remains to be seen as to who this character could be. Right now, the series is facing a lot of uncertainties because of the real-life health crisis. Cast and crew won't be able to start filming unless the situation gets a little bit better.
