Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle withdrew from royal life many in the UK and around the world saw great potential in the couple and they fast became two of the most popular members of the family.

Tell-all book Finding Freedom details the frustration of Harry and Markle about royal life. Its claims suggest the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are privileged and spoiled.

Harry and Markle are considered a power couple and the public wanted them to be a success. However, the book claims the couple didn't see their trajectory into failure. They had expected to make a fortune through royal connections but they have "achieved little."

Finding Freedom chronicles the romance and marriage of Harry and Markle and their split from the royal family. The book claims the duke felt he was "thrown under the bus" by aides working for brother Prince William.

Harry and Markle have been widely criticized since their move to Los Angeles. Some argue the two "abandoned" the UK during the coronavirus pandemic. With Queen Elizabeth and the royal family seen as strength and stability by many in the UK, Harry and Markle could have helped emotionally during the crisis.

TV presenter and journalist Carole Malone says Harry and Markle are all about greed and deceit. "It's the greed and the deceit that make this all so low-rent and ugly. How can two people who've been given so much still be as selfish and disrespectful as Meghan and Harry? Because, while this joke-woke couple have tried to kid us they're all about charity and saving the planet, what they're actually about is money," Malone said in the Daily Express.
