Kanye West confirmed his recent meeting with Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner. The rapper's admission came a day after a major newspaper revealed the encounter.

West admitted on Twitter that he met with Kutcher but, apparently, they only talked about Dr. Claude Anderson's book, PowerNomics: The National Plan to Empower Black America. The book, which was published in 2001, offers a five-year plan to make Black America an empowered race that is self-sufficient and competitive.

In his tweet, Kanye challenged the New York Times to ask him about his meeting with Kushner in a live interview. The publication, earlier, exposed the presidential aspirant's meeting with Trump's senior advisor amidst his efforts to be on the state ballots as part of an independent bid for the White House.

The meeting, reportedly, happened last weekend when Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and their children were on a camping trip in Colorado. Jared was, reportedly, accompanied by his wife, Ivanka Trump, in the meeting but Kanye flew to Telluride without Kim.

This sparked more speculations to the existing accusations that the Jesus Is King singer is getting help from the GOP on his campaign. The rapper has been accused of receiving help from some Republican political operatives since he announced his candidacy last month. The GOP is, allegedly, gathering signatures for West's petition for his name to be included in states' ballots.

So far, West's name will be on the November ballots in Colorado, Vermont, and Oklahoma. He missed filing deadlines in other states and was rejected in New Jersey and Illinois due to invalid signatures. He is, also, facing legal challenges about the signatures that were submitted in Wisconsin.

Additionally, Forbes reported that West and Kushner have been in constant communication since the day the Grammy winner declared that he is running for president. West, allegedly, bragged to his associates that he and Kushner speak "almost daily." The Life of Pablo singer claimed Ivanka's husband is scared and doesn't want him to run because Jared knows Kanye can win the elections.

In another interview with Forbes, West was told he may not win the 2020 elections because it is unlikely that he would get enough ballots to produce the needed 270 electoral votes. When told that he will end up serving as a spoiler in the election, he did not dispute the assumption.

West used to be a vocal supporter of Trump. The rapper, however, withdrew his support to the president after he declared his interest to run for president.
