Meghan Markle became a part of the Royal Family when she married Prince Harry in 2018. Their whirlwind romance caught a lot of attention, and they quickly became two of the most popular members of the clan.

However, Meghan Markle will not be portrayed in a popular Netflix show about royals. Despite her popularity, the Duchess of Sussex will not be depicted in the final season of The Crown.

According to the show’s creator, Meghan Markle just recently joined the Royal Family, so she will not be portrayed in the last season of the hit drama that chronicles the life of Queen Elizabeth from the 1940s to modern times.

The fifth and sixth season of the show will include Prince Charles’ failed marriage to Princess Diana, as well as Prince Andrew’s separation from Sarah, Duchess of York.

Since these royal controversies will be shown in the upcoming seasons of The Crown, fans were disappointed when it was revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s shocking withdrawal from royal life will not be included in the show.

Screenwriter Peter Morgan explained that “you need perspective” in order to create a storyline, which is why they decided to omit Meghan Markle from the show.

"I don't want to write about them because to write about them would instantly make it journalistic. And there are plenty of journalists already writing about them. To be a dramatist, I think you need perspective and you need to also allow for the opportunity for metaphor. Once something has a metaphorical possibility, it can then become interesting,” he said.

Meanwhile, there were speculations that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be joining the Hollywood scene. Before the Duchess of Sussex joined the Royal Family she was a celebrity in Tinseltown.

Meghan Markle started her career in the entertainment world as a briefcase model on the game show Deal or No Deal. She then became an actress and landed the role of Rachel Zane in Suits.

The Duchess of Sussex had already established her net worth way before she met Harry. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Meghan Markle’s net worth is $5 million. Harry's net worth, on the other hand, is $40 million. This is an accumulation from the trust left to him by the late Princess Diana, an inheritance from the Queen Mother, and his former salary as a captain in the British army.
