Piers Morgan is known for his blunt opinions on celebrities and public figures. And one of the people that he likes to criticize a lot is Meghan Markle.

So, when Meghan Markle made her intervention in a recent engagement with When All Women Vote, Piers Morgan made sure to give his comments about it. The Duchess of Sussex called for voters to make a “change” adding “if you aren’t going out there and voting, then you're complicit.” This didn’t sit well with the Good Morning Britain host.

“The Queen must strip the Sussexes of their titles. They can’t remain as royals & spout off about foreign elections in such a brazenly partisan way,” he wrote on Twitter.

Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the Royal Family members have traditions and rules to follow to avoid controversy. They are expected to remain neutral in every situation, especially when it comes to politics both in the U.K. and abroad. They also, most of the time, apply the famous “less talk, less mistake” quote.

However, Meghan Markle is an American citizen. So, it is unclear if the protocol applies to her as well.

This is definitely not the first time Piers Morgan criticized Meghan Markle. The controversial host appeared on The Talko back in February, and he talked about his least favorite person on earth — Prince Harry’s wife.

Piers Morgan praised Prince William and Kate Middleton for stepping up after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s withdrawal while criticizing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for quitting Britain and the royals.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump and Piers Morgan are two of the most trolled personalities online. Many are not happy with how Trump is handling the issues in the country, making him one of the most disliked US Presidents in history. The English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality, on the other hand, receives a lot of backlashes because of his controversial opinions and rude comments.

Despite the hate that Donald Trump and Piers Morgan receive from netizens, they are not the most trolled ones on social media. A study revealed that Meghan Markle has more critics online than the U.S. President and the host.

The study analyzed 500,000 recent negative tweets about celebrities and public figures. Piers Morgan got the fourth spot, while Donald Trump was sixth. With 53 percent negative tweets, Meghan Markle sits third on the list.
