BTS released its first music video for “Dynamite” on August 21, and ARMYs loved the disco-inspired summer bop. However, some fans are not too happy with Jin’s screen time and line distribution.

Being a part of the “Vocal Line,” many believe that Jin’s talent have never been properly shown. The “Moon” singer usually gets the least amount of singing lines, and despite his Worldwide Handsome visuals, he doesn’t get much screen time like the other boys.

As if his lack of appearance on the “Dynamite” official music video was not enough, Jin’s part was cut off in the EDM version of the song. This “mistreatment” was too much for ARMYs to handle – so much so that a group called the “International Seokjinnies” stationed a protest truck outside Big Hit Entertainment to show their discontent.

“We want our request to be heard as fans of Kim Seokjin to give him opportunities to utilize his talents properly… Seokjin’s solo song ‘Moon’ is #5 in Rolling Stone’s 75 Greatest Boyband Songs Of All Time,” the huge screen read.

The hashtag #JinDeservesBetter also quickly trended on Twitter. Some even planned to boycott Big Hit but didn’t have the heart to pursue it because of their love for BTS.

Aside from Jin, many were also upset that J-Hope only had a few lines in BTS's latest song release. The BTS rapper had been stealing hearts during the “Dynamite” teasers, and a lot of ARMYs were branding this comeback as his era.

However, when the “Dynamite” official music video finally dropped, ARMYs' expectation of a J-Hope era went down the drain, as he only sang for six seconds.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that ARMYs have launched a protest against Big Hit Entertainment. Fans recently demanded fair treatment for V after he was left out of BTS’s Break The Silence cast.

ARMYs took to Twitter to share their frustration and “BTS is 7” quickly trended on the platform. Many were baffled as to how can these editors forget one member when it’s common knowledge in the K-pop world that BTS consists of seven members.

“He doesn't deserve this kind of treatment. He shows his love and support to the other members so he doesn't deserve this treatment @BigHitEnt please fix this BTS IS 7 No one will be left behind!” one wrote. “Please love them all and don’t leave any member behind. They started as 7, and they will always be 7,” another one shared.
