After the pop giant shared a photo of the newborn kid of his sister-in-law, Alaia Baldwin, he was cradling on his hand, Bieber received a lot of comments for looking like a natural dad, including John's. The Jumanji: The Next Level star commented the image "pretty much sealed the deal."
Hence, he fully expected the two to have a baby of their own in 2021. According to HollywoodLife, Bieber and John were often teasing each other.
So, a source told the publication that the Canadian singer-songwriter did not take his comment seriously. They were good friends and loved to "trade in jokes back and forth."
The 26-year-old believed the retired wrestler was hilarious, and he even appreciated the love he gave for them. However, he found his prediction as a "pure joke" and was only delivered for "good fun."
The insider continued Bieber and Hailey were aware that everybody was waiting for them to have a baby. It even became a running joke between them because, aside from family and friends, fans were also bringing up the baby topic on "a regular basis."
The two knew they wanted to grow their family and have kids at some point. But, they were still waiting for the right time.
It could not be denied that they both loved kids. They were spending time with the children in their families, but they never let the pressure force them to take their marriage to the next level.
They believed it would happen when it had to, but it might take them a little while before they finally had a baby.
Hailey had yet to enter the stage that she wanted to have a kid. However, the insider explained that if the 23-year-old model felt like she was already ready, her husband would be all for it.
Bieber was just waiting for Hailey to feel the time was right. He wanted his wife to have the shot. He would never pressure her into it out of his extreme respect for her.
It might be a few years from now, as the tipster revealed Hailey wanted to be a mom at the age of 26 or 27. They were still young and had plenty of time to build a family of their own in the future.
