Melania Trump made the keynote address for the second night of the Republican National Convention. She joined her husband, as well as the audience, at the White House's Rose Garden.

While the participants greeted her with applause, netizens did not, reportedly, find her pleasing. It had something to do with her shocking choice of clothing, according to the Daily Express.

Several individuals took their thoughts on various social media platforms and slammed the First Lady, particularly her appearance that night. Many pointed out that she looked "cold" and very "unrelatable."

Other critics said that they were not very much into fashion nor clothing pieces but Melania's fashion choices for that night, reportedly, caught the attention of many in a "bad" way. Some netizens, also, described the clothing style "a little somber," adding that they could not tell what message she was trying to send.

The publication reported the exact pieces Melania Trump wore that night. She donned an Alexander McQueen "military-style" jacket that costs about $2,000.

Kaia Gerber, reportedly, wore the same jacket in the past. But, the First Lady changed the style using a "double-banded belt" around the waist that accentuated her hourglass figure.

Melania Trump paired the jacket with a matching high-waist midi skirt. She tucked it in underneath the khaki jacket. One unique feature of the skirt is the pleated details at the back hem. Reports said that it costs around $550 to $700.

To complete the look, Donald Trump's wife seemingly kept it all simple using a pair of pointed-toe heels that matches the tone of the clothing pieces. As for her accessories, she, reportedly, wore her wedding ring alone.

A similar report from the Daily Express says that Melania Trump, also, received criticisms from netizens earlier this week. She hosted the launch of the "Building the Movement" art exhibit in front of the White House.

While her choice of clothing was "on point" and vibrant, many individuals slammed her for not wearing a mask. Several photos of her, alongside the young artists, at the event, went viral on social media. It caused concern and alarm among the public because she was "hugging" some of the children.

In response to the "horror," an official from the East Wing, reportedly, released a statement, revealing that all the children and participants at the launch received a test for the coronavirus. This seemingly insinuated that the event was safe despite not wearing masks throughout the event.
