Melania Trump has never spoken ill of her husband and step-children. But, recent reports alleged that she had and a former friend of her caught it all on tape.
Two sources said that Stephanie Winston Wolkoff taped the First Lady as she made the "disparaging remarks" about Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump. She, reportedly, included them in her upcoming memoir, Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady. While it remains unknown what these comments are, the sources, who are "familiar" with the contents of the book, confirmed that Wolkoff wrote them in detail, according to Yashar Ali.
The shocking news comes after The Washington Post revealed that Mary Trump taped the U.S. President's sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, stating that his brother has "no principles," and a person one could not trust. Reports, then, noted that Mary included most of the statements caught on tape in her recently released memoir, Too Much and Never Enough.
Yashar Ali said, however, that Donald Trump's niece did not reveal this in the book. Instead, she released the tapes to The Washington Post after the publication raised questions about her claims in the memoir.
The journalist, then, said that it remains unclear whether Melania Trump's former friend will, also, do the same in her upcoming memoir. But, his sources, reportedly, confirmed that the Wolkoff based the claims in her book on the audiotapes featuring the First Lady.
Stephanie Winston Wolkoff shared an "intimate" relationship with Melania Trump for more than a decade, even before they arrived inside the White House, according to New Zealand Herald. After winning the election, the First Lady hired her to help produce Donald Trump's inauguration in 2017. As noted, she was Vogue's former director of special events, who helped organize the iconic Met Gala for several years.
They, however, had a "falling out" after allegations of "funds being misused," and "excess spending" hit the inaugural committee. Wolkoff, reportedly, felt that she was a "scapegoat" amid the whole debacle.
Melania and Me will drop on September 1, as per Cosmopolitan. The magazine said that the description of the book on Amazon sounds "juicy."
It says that the book will feature several things about Melania Trump, including her reaction to the Stormy Daniels' scandal, her relationship to Ivanka Trump, her real sentiments being the First Lady of the United States, and the real reason why she wore her infamous jacket.
