American Horror Story season 10 hasn't started filming as of yet. The anthology horror series is not slated to premiere this 2020 due to the current health crisis. But, it looks like the upcoming installment is getting ready to start production in the coming months.
In a recent Instagram post, executive producer Ryan Murphy seemingly confirmed that American Horror Story season 10 could begin filming in October. If the plan will push through and there'll be no further delays, we could expect the new season coming out at some point in 2021.
Murphy shared a photo of a pointy teeth creature. He made it clear that the image is a clue, possibly hinting the theme of the story. There have been previous speculations that the upcoming installment revolves around the beach and will feature mermaids or some deep sea creatures.
Moreover, Murphy previously posted another photo of two hands seemingly coming out of the ocean. The image coincides with the cast announcement, in which he shared a clip with a beach background and creepy music. These are strong indications that the new season features water creatures.
Meanwhile, there's a question whether or not Rubber Man is coming back in American Horror Story season 10. This iconic character appeared in AHS: Murder House and it looks like Murphy is interested to bring him back. He posted a photo of this creature with a caption "coming soon."
As for who's appearing, the new season will introduce a new, yet familiar face. It has been confirmed that Macaulay Culkin -- known as Kevin McCallister in the Home Alone franchise -- is one of the newest cast members of the latest installment.
But, it's yet to be seen what would be his role in the series. In addition to Culkin, American Horror Story season 10 also sees the return of AHS veterans Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters. These two are both missing in the previous installment for the first time.
Now, it was confirmed that Paulson is coming back and will play a "central character." The installment season also sees the return of Adina Porter, Finn Wittrock, Billie Lourd, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, and Leslie Grossman.
There's also a question whether or not Dylan McDermott will appear in American Horror Story season 10. The actor made some sporadic appearances across the franchise. And while nothing is confirmed right now, he said that he's open to appearing again if given another opportunity.
