There is no reason for Giannis Antetokounmpo to change his jersey soon but the 25-year-old's quest for an NBA title could soon prod him to consider leaving the Milwaukee Bucks. In such a scenario, the rising superstar could very well consider joining up with the Dallas Mavericks to satisfy his championship cravings.

The proposition was discussed in Reddit and it was suggested that the Mavs are best suited for the accomplished Antetokounmpo, who likely will conclude the season boasting of his second league MVP win.

The one thing going for the reigning MVP campaigning for Dallas in the seasons to come is the team's current star. Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis are deemed as the future of the NBA and Antetokounmpo switching sides in the offseason to join forces with the two European stars is nothing short of a blockbuster deal, according to Fadeaway World.

The three playing together in a team is not only a perfect fit, but it is also a match made in heaven, the report added.

It should not be a problem for the Dallas front office to make a move on the Greek Freak, and more so if the target acquisition is willing. As the same Reddit post indicated, the Mavs have the cap space to make the maneuver and they should be further encouraged by the absence of state income tax in Texas.

That means the stars are favoring the Mavericks to have a shot at the Bucks franchise player and this endeavor should take a better form in the week to come. If Milwaukee's postseason adventures will end too soon, then Antetokounmpo has a reason to reevaluate his future with the Bucks.

Dallas making an offer to the NBA star has to be something to ponder for Antetokounmpo during the season break.

And in having this season's best defensive player, the Mavs will be able to relive the glory days of Dirk Nowitzki. Clutch Points reported that Antetokounmpo averaged 30.6 points and 16 rebounds per game during the Bucks' first-round playoff showdown with the Orlando Magic.

The same feat was seen 18 years ago courtesy of Nowitzki and the chance is high that Antetokounmpo will make a repeat performance in the seasons to come, possibly in Dallas uniforms.

There is no denying that the Mavs and Nowitzki shared a mighty NBA history that includes a championship win in 2011. To be sure, Antetokounmpo can replicate this and make it even better, again making a strong argument for the two sides to consider working in the future and achieve NBA greatness.
