Tommy Egan is expected to have his own spin-off following the events that happened in the flagship show, Power. He was one of the most significant characters in that series. And now, it was revealed that the spin-off is titled Power Book IV: Force, starring Joseph Sikora.

Starz confirmed that Power Book IV: Force is officially happening on the network. Originally, the spin-off was announced after the series finale of Power. But, at that time, the series was billed Book V, with Book IV being billed as Influence led by Larenz Tate as Rashad.

However, the latter series might be moved to being Book V, though there aren't too many details about it at the moment. Meanwhile, Robert Munic serves as the showrunner of Power Book IV: Force. Some of his works include Gang Related, Star, as well as Empire.

The story of the spin-off remains unknown at the moment. But, it could see Tommy (Sikora) heading West after his time growing up and living in New York. Perhaps, he's on his way to California. Yet, there could be unexpected twists and turns that could surprise everyone.

Meanwhile, Starz President of Programming Christina Davis has something to say about the news confirming the spin-off is happening. She said that Power is one of the most successful series in premium pay television. It garnered over 10 million multiplatform views in its last two seasons.

Davis said she can't wait to take fans in a whole new direction, and Tommy's story begins in Power Book IV: Force. But, right now, viewers need to wait for a while since two more spin-offs are coming before this one. The third book started production before the current health crisis hits the globe.

The third installment is titled, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which tells the early years of Kanan Stark (50 Cent). The series is, reportedly, set to resume filming this fall and will premiere in 2021 on Starz. It is created by Sascha Penn, who serves as executive producer and showrunner, as well.

Power Book IV: Force may not be in production anytime soon because of the pandemic. A lot of things are needed to be done so filming could begin at some point in 2021. If there are no setbacks along the way, we could expect it either in late next year or early 2022.

For now, the second book, Power Book II: Ghost, will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 6, on Starz.
