The two were, reportedly, "on shaky ground," as Parker refused to stop her smoking habit. Indeed, things were going well between them.
But, as their kids were now getting older, a dubious source said they had to set a good example. Although the designer stopped smoking when she was pregnant with her son, James, alleged pals revealed she still smoked now and then.
Broderick knew she was continuing her bad habit, as he could smell it on her. Hence, he, reportedly, gave her an ultimatum that might scare Parker and quit smoking for good.
Gossip Cop debunked this claim, explaining claims about Parker and Broderick's marriage was on "shaky ground" was far from happening. The Hocus Pocus star might have been smoking for years. So, it was quite impossible for her husband to only complaining now.
It was unbelievable that the smoking habit would put their long-standing romance into jeopardy that they might end up parting ways. Also, a spokesperson for Parker confirmed the story was not true at all.
In fact, Parker and Broderick's recent outing would prove that there was no way their marriage was at the breaking point. Daily Mail published some photos of the pair, enjoying their bond at the beach in the Hamptons.
At 55, the Divorce star proved she still had it by showing her stunning figure by wearing a one-piece black swimsuit. She paired her swimwear with a green floral cover-up and completed her look with an oversized, wraparound glasses and a silver necklace.
Alternatively, Broderick put his toned dad bod on display, wearing a grey souvenir shirt from Cuttyhunk Island, Massachusetts. He matched his shirt with maroon swimming trunks and a pair of round tortoiseshell sunglasses.
The two looked very happy as they picked up their stuff, from towels to chairs to umbrellas. They were even seen smiling at each other and spending some time with their friends.
