Before Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx split up last year, rumors had it Tom Cruise's ex-wife was pregnant after having a secret marriage with the 52-year-old singer-actor. A year after their breakup, time only proved that the rumors were not true at all -- they never got married, let alone had a child.
NW reported, via Gossip Cop, that Foxx and Holmes "tied the knot in secret in Paris" in 2019. Before the marriage rumors, the publication initially claimed the former couple had plans to get married.
After the dubious wedding report, it then asserted a baby was on the way. Holmes was, allegedly, due to give birth in mid-2019. The publication's so-called source revealed that the actress' only daughter, Suri, was excited to have a sibling.
At the time, Holmes was said to be four months pregnant and would soon have a baby box that would be a mini version of Foxx. Twenty-nineteen came and went, but the Dawson's Creek star never gave birth.
Gossip Cop debunked the claim, saying Foxx and Holmes were never seen in Paris together for a long time even before their split. It also insisted that the story about their alleged baby was only made-up.
When the rumors emerged, Holmes was in Miami and never appeared heavy with a child. A real source close to the situation also confirmed that the 41-year-old star was never pregnant.
In mid-2019, when the supposed baby was set to be born, news emerged Foxx and Holmes called it quits after having a very personal relationship for about six years.
Foxx continued to have a busy schedule as he returned to scripted TV with a new Netflix series, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me. Alternatively, Holmes also had a new movie project, The Secret Dare to Dream, which she promoted on Instagram.
She also recently made noise, hitting the headlines with her alleged new romance with chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. In the photos obtained by Daily Mail, the two packed on major PDA during a night out in New York City.
The Batman Forever star was seen sitting on the 33-year-old chef's lap as they enjoyed a cozy dinner at Peasant Restaurant in Manhattan. At one point, they were seen looking into each other's eyes and even caught kissing.
This was the second time the two were seen together on the street of NYC this month. Holmes and Vitorlo first sparked dating rumors when they were seen together at the Mediterranean restaurant Antique Garage in SoHo.
