Meghan Markle previously vowed to be more vocal after stepping down from her senior royal role with Prince Harry, and she's keeping that promise. The Duchess of Sussex was an actress, activist, and public speaker before getting married to the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana.

Even though Meghan Markle had to give up her celebrity status to be the wife of Prince Harry, she still maintains her capability of being comfortable with speaking to people. So after her and the Duke of Sussex’s withdrawal, the pair continue speaking up with campaigns that they are passionate about.

Last year, Meghan Markle became a patron of the charity Smart Works. The Duchess of Sussex still keeps in touch with the organization, and she recently spoke with some of its clients through a video call.

“People can say that so much of Smart Works is about the clothes themselves but it's really not. All of that stuff is the exterior, but it is what it does for you on the inside that ends up being the best accessory. It’s the confidence, it's what is built within, that is the piece that you walk out of that room with and walk into the interview with that will take you to the next level of success,” she said.

Meghan Markle has repeatedly campaigned for women’s empowerment after her royal exit. The Duchess of Sussex even delivered a speech in the Girl Up leadership conference back in July. She took part in the gender equality initiative of the United Nations Foundation, which reportedly marked a "significant moment" for her.

Meghan Markle also plans to use her voice to the upcoming U.S. election. She is among the 100 high-profile women who shared that they will vote this November.

The Duchess of Sussex told Marie Claire that she knows what it feels like to have a voice and to be voiceless. She then noted that she chose to be heard and urged everyone else to vote as well.

It was even claimed that Meghan Markle got her eyes on the U.S. Presidency. Royal author Lady Colin Campbell said that the Duchess of Sussex plans to move into the White House.

Meghan Markle had also been delivering politicized speeches and Richard Fitzwilliams believes that there’s a deeper meaning behind it. The royal commentator is speculating that the Duchess of Sussex is "rehearsing for a far bigger stage" and become a “Democratic Party candidate” in the future.
